Although Greencross Vets is part of a national organisation our practice is run and managed by a team of dedicated vets, nurses and support staff who understand and value the bond between you and your pet. Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Meet The Team

Kyah Tapp

Kyah Tapp

Kyah joined the Greencross team in 2018 when she started her Greencross Internship (Certificate II in Animal Studies). She then completed her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing through TAFE NSW in 2022. Kyah has shown a great passion for Canine care and overall animal health and welfare. She has four dogs named, Bossy, Ollie, Winnie and Poppy and two birds, Cocky the Galah and Boo, the Hanns Macaw. She is definitely a dog lover and will always find time to give them some extra love at work. In her free time, she enjoys Bodybuilding, CrossFit and hanging out with her family and pets. Kyah is always up for a chat and is a smiley character around the clinic.

Kaylah Frazer

Kaylah Frazer

Kaylah studied veterinary nursing with Tafe NSW in2017. Kaylah boasts over 7 years of experience as a seasoned Veterinary Nurse with a keen focus on Pathology collection and Surgical nursing.
If there’s a Kelpie in the clinic, you can bet Kaylah’s already besties with them. And when she’s not at work, you’ll catch her out and about, adventuring with her son and her trio of furry pals.

Dr Peter Nosworthy

Dr Peter Nosworthy

Peter graduated from Sydney University at the end of 1971. Initially Peter worked in large animal practice before moving to small animals. Peter has been at Wyoming Vet hospital since 1982. Peter has an interest in small animal medicine and surgery. Peter also has an extensive knowledge in reptiles. Peter’s interests outside of work include spending time with his wife and three children and all types of sports especially skiing at every opportunity.

Joanne Hamilton

Joanne is our designated and dedicated receptionist at Greencross Vets Wyoming. She has been working at the clinic for over 4 years and joined us from Petbarn at West Gosford. Outside of work Jo enjoys spending time with her husband, cat and 2 birds.

Tanya Edwards

Tanya Edwards

Tanya has been a qualified veterinary nurse since 1999 and has been working at Wyoming ever since. Tanya has completed her Equine nursing certificate and has spent time working on a horse stud. She has two horses, a dog, a cat, rabbits and birds. When Tanya is not at work she enjoys showing her horses as she has successfully competed in the Sydney and Canberra Royal Shows.

 Guy has been working at Wyoming Veterinary hospital since October 2008.  He graduated from Sydney Uni in 2007.  he is a very passionate vet with a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the job. Guy is very competant vet who likes to be involved in all  cases.  In his free time Guy likes to play golf and relax.
