Dr Peter Nosworthy, Veterinary DirectorPeter graduated from Sydney University at the end of 1971. Initially Peter worked in large animal practice before moving to small animals. Peter has been at Wyoming Vet hospital since 1982. Peter has an interest in small animal medicine and surgery. Peter has an extensive knowledge in reptiles. Peter's interests outside of work include spending time with his wife and three children and all types of sports especially skiing at every opportunity. |
Dr Geoff Thompson, Associate VeterinarianGeoff grew up on a farm which subsequently led to his interest in animal husbandry and production. Geoff enjoys working in this profession because of the good hearted people that are dedicated to this profession. Geoff's family has a history of veterinary surgeons and wanted to continue the dynasty on within the Thompson family subsequently Geoff son Guy is a Veterinarian at Wyoming Vets as well. |
Therese Rees, Practice ManagerTherese has worked at the Wyoming Vet Hospital for the past 11 years as a qualified veterinary Nurse and is now the Clinic Co-Coordinator. Growing up Therese had dogs, cats, birds and any other animals I could rescue; Therese currently has two dogs Chief and Jeep which keep her busy. Therese Enjoys spending time with family and friends and her interests include natural therapies, cooking, yoga, walking, cycling, dining out and relaxing. Therese also loves listening to music and going to concerts |
Tanya Edwards, Veterinary NurseTanya is a qualified veterinary nurse since 1999 and has been working at Wyoming since then. Tanya has completed her Equine nursing certificate and have spent time working on a horse stud. She has two horses, dog, cat , rabbits and birds. When Tanya is not at work she enjoy showing her horses as she has successfully competed in the Sydney and Canberra Royal Shows. |
Julie Stockdale, Veterianry NurseJulie's love of animals started at an early Age as she was given an opportunity to start her vet nursing at 23 years of age in Gosford. Julie was already married and had her daughter, she then moved to Tamworth where for 8 years she continued her vet nursing. She then decided to open up a grooming salon in Tamworth after 5 years and a change in circumstances Julie moved back to the coast where she joined the Wyoming Veterinary Teams a receptionist. Julie has bred and showed successfully pedigree Siamese, Burmese and oriental cats. She is now semi retired and enjoying leisure time. She still enjoys working at Wyoming as she feels she can keep in touch with old clients and their pets. |

Jane Boas, Veterinary NurseJane grew up in Sydney and spent a lot of her childhood in the country at their family property in Bathurst where she developed her love of animals which grew as she got older. Jane has been living on the coast for 22 years and has been working at Wyoming Vet Hospital for the past 16 years. Jane lives on a small acreage with her 3 children and menagerie of animals which inclue my 6 dogs and 3 horses. She enjoys working on Reception where she can help not only pets but their owners. She enjoys horse riding, being involved with her kids sports activities, going away with her kids on short breaks to the bush or up the coast and spending time with her dogs - especially her kelpie 'Rosie' the wonder dog who goes to work with her and is a keen soccer player! |
Emma Sanderson, Veterianry NurseEmma started her career in the animal industry as an animal attendant for the RSPCA, where she worked for two years and studied her animal carers certificate. She became a nurse at Greencross as she has a love for animals and always strives to provide the very best of care for all animals. Being a vet nurse has been a long-time career goal for Emma. In her spare time she enjoys caring for her own variety of pets, which consist of horses, sheep, goats, dogs, cats and two budgies. Animals are a major part of Emma's life at work and at home. She wishes to continue with her education and learn as much as she can in all aspects of the animal industry. |
